Life as it is with Asperger's

On Monday evening 15th February,in conjunction with Dr Pamela Seaton & Associates, we had our first meeting of the parents group for the Photovoice Project: "Life as it is With Asperger's". We were very excited and pleased to welcome ten enthusiastic community photographers who have a child or children with Asperger's. This session covered topics about camera ethics, basic camera settings and learning to talk about images. The theme which provoked most discussion was the ethics of photographing other people and when you need to obtain their consent. It was also clear that participants were really thinking about the technical aspects of capturing what was happening in their lives. There will be 5 more sessions over the coming weeks.
